WILL
I, Allen Booth, of the Township of Shabbona, County of DeKalb and State of Illinois, of the age of seventy-one (71) years and being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, in manner following, that is to say: –
First: It is my will and desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid.
Second:- I give and bequeath to my executrix, hereinafter named, in trust the sum of Four Thousand Dollars ($4000.00) and I hereby empower and authorize said trustee to invest and loan said trust funds at interest secured on real estate security, or on other securities that may be in her judgment equally as good; the interest and income obtained from said trust funds shall annually be paid by my said trustee to my daughter Mary L. Booth during the remainder of her natural life; and at the decease of my daughter, Mary L. Booth, I give and bequeath said trust funds to my daughter Sarah A. Hinds to be hers absolutely, her heirs and assigns forever.
Third: I give and bequeath to my said daughter, Sarah A. Hind, all my family pictures, household furniture, and personal effects, not including money and securities for money and evidence of indebtedness, in and about my dwelling house and barn, situated in said Township of Shabbona, to be hers and her heirs forever.
Fourth:- I give and bequeath to my grandson, Allen C. Hinds, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00).
Fifth:- I now own an interest in the estate of Albert Hinds, deceased, conveyed to me by quit claim deed from Carlos W. Hinds, deceased which is subject to the life estate of Fannie Hinds, widow of said Albert Hinds, deceased, and I hereby give and devise the same to my said daughters, Sarah A. Hinds and Mary L. Booth, or to the survivor of them , who may be living at the time of the death of said Fannie Hinds, and in case neither of them are living at the time of the death of said Fannie Hinds, then I give such interest to the heir or heirs at law of my said daughter, Sarah A. Hinds.
Sixth:- I give and devise to my said daughter, Sarah A. Hinds all my real estate, situated in said Township of Shabbona in said County of DeKalb and State of Illinois, to her and her heirs forever.
Seventh:- I give, devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my property, either real, personal or mixed, and whatsoever situated, whether owned by me now or acquired by me hereafter, to my said daughters, Sarah A. Hinds, and Mary L. Booth, to be divided between them, equally, share and share alike.
Eighth:- I herby nominate and appoint my said daughter, Sarah A. Hinds, executrix of this my last will and testament, and I hereby direct that she shall not be required to give any bond in the administration of my estate’
