WILL
In the Name of God, Amen
I, Charles Challand of the Town of Shabbona in the County of the DeKalb and State of Illinois of the age of Seventy six years and of sound mind and memory I do hereby execute and publish this my last will and testament as follows: –
First:  That all my just debts if any be paid and my funeral expenses out of my estate.
Second:  I give and bequeath all the rest remainder and residue of personal property including all my shares of stock in the Atlantic and Pacific Railway Tunnel Co. unto my wife Mary Challand to her use and benefit forever.
And further I give and bequeath unto my wife Mary Challand all the rents use and profits of all my Real Estate, being Eighty acres of land of Section Seventeen and One Hundred Twenty two acres of land of Section Twenty in the Township of Shabbona in the County of DeKalb and State of Illinois and my Homestead in Shabbona unto her during her natural life.
And at her death it is my will and I do hereby give and bequeath all of said land together with any and all the remainder of my personal Estate remaining unused by my said wife to my son George Henry Challand to his and to his sole use and benefit and to his heirs and assigns forever.
Lastly, I hereby nominate and appoint George Henry Challand without Bonds my sole Executor of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former will by me made.
In Witness Whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal the 19th day of February, A.D. 1891.
