Oct. 27th, 1919. Will filed, and on December 1st 1919 duly probated and admitted to record.
WILL
I, Mary J. Davis of the Township of Paw Paw in the County of DeKalb and State of Illinois of the age of nearly seventy-eight years and being of sound mind and memory, do make, Publish and declare this is my last will and testament, in manner following, that is to say:
1st. I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses and expenses of administration be fully paid.
2nd. I hereby bequeath to my son Charles A. Davis being my son by Alexander P. Davis my first husband the sum of one hundred dollars the same to be paid at the expiration of one year after my decease if my estate is sufficient to pay the same.
3rd. The rest residue and remainder of my estate of whatever kind or nature soever, and wherever situate I herby devise and bequeath to my son by my second husband, Levi H. Davis to him and his heirs forever.
4th. I hereby appoint W.E. Dole sole executor of my estate hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time made.

Mary J. Davis died on April 27th 1919
Her son, Charles A. Davis preceded her in death on November 27th, 1918, leaving his children; Pauling A. Davis, Jennie Davis Stalter, Mary Davis Olsen, and grandchild Katherine Davis Mandstadt as his heirs.
