May 20th, 1940.   Will filed, and on July 29th, 1940, duly probated and admitted to record.

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
I, Jonathan Day of the Village of Shabbona, in the County of DeKalb, and the State of Illinois, being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills and codicils by me heretofore executed.
First:  I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.
Second:  I give, devise and bequeath all my estate, real, personal and mixed, wheresoever situated, to my brother Samuel Day, to be his absolutely and forever.
I hereby nominate and appoint my said brother Samuel Day Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, and direct that he not be required to give bond or security for the performance of this duty.
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 31st day of October, A.D. 1933.

His brother Samuel Day died on April 17th, 1941
Jonathan’s son, William H. Day appointed Administrator de bonis non, June 3rd, 1941
Heirs at law; William H. Day – son and Howard Erickson, grandson
