Will
In the Name of God, Amen.
I, Gottleib Hockstrasser of the County of DeKalb and State of Illinois, being of sound mind and memory do make, ordain and establish this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wills by me heretofore executed.
First:- I direct that all my just debts including funeral expenses and expenses of administration, be fully paid by my executor .
Second:- I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Caroline Noe, the North East quarter of the South East quarter and the South East quarter of the North East quarter of Section Eighteen, in the Township Thirty Eight, North Range Two, East of the Third Principal Meridian, situate in the County of Lee and State of Illinois, on condition however that if my wife, Rosina Hockstrasser survives me, that said Caroline Noe pay to my wife at the end of each and every year after my decease, during the time she so survives me, the sum of one hundred dollars.
Third:- I give and devise to my daughter, Mary Meyer, the South half of the North West quarter of Section nine in township thirty eight, North of Range two, East of the Third Prinicpal Meridian, situate in said county of Lee, , on condition however that if my said wife survives me, that the said Mary Meyer pay to my said wife at the end of each and every year after my decease during the time she so survives me, the sum of one hundred dollars.
Fourth:- I give and devise to my daughter, Sophia E. Yetter, the South half of the North East quarter of Section Eight in Township Thirty-eight, North Range Two, East of the Third Prinicpal Meridian, in said county of Lee, , on condition however in case my said wife survives me, the said Sophia E. Jetter pay to my said wife at the end of each and every year she so survives me, the sum of one hundred dollars.
Fifth:- I give and devise to my daughter, Lucy A. Wagner, the South half of the South East quarter of Section One in Township Thirty-eight, North Range one, East of the Third Prinicpal Meridian, in said county of Lee, , on condition however that in case my said wife survives me, the said Lucy A Wagner shall at the end of each and every year she so survives me, pay to my said wife, the sum of one hundred dollars.
Sixth;- I give and devise unto my said wife, Rosina Hockstrasser, a life estate in all the other real estate of which I may die seized and at her death, the said remainder of my real estate to be equally divided between my four daughters above named, their heirs or assigns.
Seventh:- I hereby give and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal or mixed, of whatsoever kind or nature and wheresoever situated to my said wife, Rosina Hockstrasser whom I hereby appoint sole Executrix of this my last will and testament and it is my desire that my said Executrix may not be required to give any Bond whatever
