Will
I, John S. McCann, of the City of DeKalb, County of DeKalb, and State of Illinois, of the age of thirty-three (33) years, and being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say:-
First:- It is my will and desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid.
Second:- I give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate of whatsoever kind or nature, whether real, personal or mixed and wheresoever situated whether owned by me now or acquired by me hereafter, to my wife Mabel McCann to be hers and heirs forever.
Third:- I nominate and appoint my said wife Mabel McCann executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made, and I direct that my said wife as such executrix shall not be required to give surety or sureties on her bond.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 16th day of February, A. D. 1921.

July 11th, 1921. Petition of Mabel McCann for Probate of Will and Letters of Testamentary filed representing that John S. McCann died May 13th, 1921, testate.
That said deceased left surviving him his widow Mabel McCann residing at 125 S. 7th St., DeKalb, Ill. and the following named persons as his only heirs at law and legatees and their respective places of residence so far as known are as follows –

William Thomas McCann, 125 S. 7th St., DeKalb, Ill.
