From examination of the death records in the office of the County Clerk of DeKalb County, Illinois, we find that Edna May Stevens of Shabbona, Illinois, wife of Miles O. Stevens, aged 51 years, died February 22nd, 1943. Death Certificate Number 10177, filed March 31st, 1943

May 22nd, 1943. Will filed and on July 6th, 1943, duly probated.
Last Will and Testament of Miles O. Stevens
I, Miles O. Stevens, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do hereby publish and declare this as and for my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills or codicils by me made.
I hereby give, devise and bequeath unto my Children – Edwin Eugene Rita & DeEtte, share and share alike, all my property, real, personal and mixed of which I may be possessed or to which I may be entitled to at the time of my death.
I hereby constitute and appoint my sister, Avis Hasler, as guardian of the person and estate of my children, during their minority.
I hereby appoint my sister, Avis Hasler, executrix of this, my last will and testament
