Last Will and Testament

Lyman Truman, Deceased.

Will proven, filed and admitted to record at Surrogate Court of Tioga County N. Y. on April 9th,1881.

After other bequests to his wife Emily M. Truman for an during the term iof her  natural life and no longer the equal undivided 1/4 part of all the rest, residue and remainder of all the estate and property whatsoever which I shall have or own at the time of my decease and at the decease of my said wife I give the 1/4 part to my daughters Adaline Stanbrough, Emily A. Truman, and Dorinda E. Truman their heirs etc, etc. to be divided between them.

The devisees and bequests herein contained to my said wife Emily M. Truman are expressly made and declared to be and my will is that the same be taken by my said wife in lieu of her dower in and to my land estate and property and every part thereof.

The remain three equal undivided 1/4 parts of my estate and property which I shall own at my decease shall be divided by my Executors between my three daughters, the survivor or survivors of them into three equal shares to be held in trust by my Executors for them their heirs and assigns.

I do hereby constitute and appoint my wife Emily M. Truman and her brother Andrew Jackson Goodrich and my brother Orin S. Truman Executors of this my last Will and Testament.

During the continuance of any of the trusts created in this my will my said Executors or the survivor or survivors of them hereby authorized and empowered from time to time and at all times to Contract to sell, and to sell and convey and to make good sufficient deeds of conveyance of all or any portion of the real estate or personal estate hereby devised or bequeathed to them in trust.
