Will
I, DeWitt Van Velzor of the Village of Shabbona in the County of DeKalb and State of Illinois being of sound mind and memory do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following.
I give and bequeath to my wife Lucy Van Velzor all of the property of which I may die possessed both real and personal of whatever kind or nature for her maintenance and disposal during her life, the same to in lieu of dower to which she may be entitled by law, said property remaining to revert equally to my mother, sisters, and brother or if either of them be dead than their heirs to inherit their share upon the demise of my said wife.
I hereby desire that there may be no inventory of any portion of my property.
I hereby appoint my wife Lucy Van Velzor Executrix of this my last will and testament and desire that she shall not be required to give any bond or security for the faithful execution of the duties of executrix.
