Eunice Van Velzor

WILL
I, Eunice Van Velzor of Shabbona, DeKalb County, Illinois, make this my last Will.
I give devise and bequeath my estate and property real and personal, as follows, that is to say:
First: I order and direct that my just debts be paid with convenient speed.
Second: I give, devise and bequeath to my son Wm. W. Van Velzor two thousand dollars, and the pasture describe as follows: – Commencing two rods West of the North West corner of Lot One, Block Eight, Shabbona, DeKalb County, Illinois, thence East to the West line of my residence lot, Thence West to the center of the highway, thence South to the place of beginning, containing ten acres of land.
Third: I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Jane Van Velzor two thousand dollars and the undivided on half of the North twenty five acres of the West one half of the North East quarter of Section fifteen, and an undivided one half of a piece of land commencing at the North East corner of Lot one, Block five, Shabbona, DeKalb County, Illinois, thence West eighteen rids, thence North nine rods and sixteen feet, thence East eighteen rods, thence South to the place of beginning.
Fourth: I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Lilly Van Velzor Ladd, two thousand dollars.
Fifth: I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Watson and undivided one half of a piece of land commencing at the North East corner of Lot one, Block five, Shabbona, DeKalb County, Illinois, thence West eighteen rods, thence North nine rods and sixteen feet , thence East eighteen rods, thence South to the place of beginning.
Sixth: I give to Walter W. Wilcox one thousand dollars.
Seventh: I give to my sister Malvina Wilcox one thousand dollars.
Eighth: I give to my daughter Ida Sherwood two thousand dollars.
Ninth: I give to my grand daughter Essie Van Velzor, daughter of Wm. Van Velzor, my watch and chain.
Tenth: All the lands described this Will are in Township Thirty-eight, Range three, East of the Third P. M. DeKalb County, Illinois.
Eleventh: The omission of Sarah Helm from the provisions of this will is intentional, she having been amply provided for by my late husband Madison /Van Velzor.
Twelfth: All the residue of my estate, real, personal, and mixed, wheresoever it may be found, and of whatsoever it may consist, I give , devise and bequeath in equal parts to my four daughters, viz: – Mary Watson, Jane Van Velzor, Ida Sherwood and Lilly Van Velzor Ladd.
