Last Will and Testament Of George Mohr
In the Name of God, Amen
I, George Mohr, of the Village of Shabbona, county f DeKalb, State of Illinois, being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do hereby make, publish, and declare this my last Will and Testament in the manner following, that is to say:
First. It is my will that all funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully paid.
Second. After the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses, I give, devise and bequeath unto my wife, Sarah B. Mohr, the following described real estate; Lot Ten (10), the West Three-fifths (3/5) of Lot Nine (9) and the West Eighty (80) feet of Lots Eleven and Twelve (11 and 12), all in block Five (5) of the original Town of Shabbona, DeKalb County, Illinois, to have and to hold forever, meaning to convey the property where I now reside.
Third. I give, devise, and bequeath to my said wife the East Half (1/2) of Lot Four (4) in Block Nineteen (19) of the of the original Town of Shabbona, DeKalb County, Illinois, to have and to hold forever.
Fourth. I give, devise and bequeath unto my said wife, Sarah B. Mohr, Fifteen (15) shares of stock in the Farmer’s and Trader’s State Bank; also I give, devise and bequeath unto my said wife all the household furnishings in my dwelling.
Fifth. I give, devise and bequeath to my grand daughter, Mary Mohr Mead, the sum of Twenty-five Hundred Dollars ($2500.00) to be paid from the share of the property of my son, Harry L. Mohr, within one year after my decease.
Sixth. I give, devise and bequeath to my son, Harry L. Mohr, ten (10) shares of stock in the Farmer’s and Trader’s State Bank
Seventh. I give, devise and bequeath to my son Harry L. Mohr, the Southwest quarter (1/4) of Section Thirty-four (34), Township Thirty-nine (39) North, Range Three (3), East of the Third (3) P.M., situated in the County of DeKalb, State of Illinois, to have and to hold forever. Also I give, devise and bequeath to my son, Harry L. Mohr, the North Half (1/2) of the Northwest fractional quarter (1/4) of section Three, Township thirty-eight (38) North, Range Three, East of the Third (3) P.M., all of which property I have heretofore conveyed to said Harry L. Mohr by Quit Claim Deed and which deeds have been delivered to my by said Harry L. Mohr and recorded; said deeds intending to convey all my right, title and interest in said property subject to my life use and were made in lieu of (3) Quit Claim Deeds executed by me on the 16th day of October A. D. 1918, wherein said property was conveyed to my then living children, Carrie Jones, Earl Mohr and Harry Mohr, but which deeds were never delivered by me to my said children although the same were recorder in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of DeKalb Country, Illinois, the same being in my passion continuously since the execution thereof.
Eighth. I give, devise and bequeath to Roland Jones and Rogene Jones Tuach Forty-four (44) shares of the Schiller Piano Company Stock.
Ninth. The foregoing bequests and devises are intended to convey all my interest in real estate now owned by me and intended to supplant and to take the place of certain Warranty Deeds executed by me on or about the 16th day if October, A.D. 1918, and recorded as numbers 68758, 68759, 68760 and recorded in Volume 122 of Deeds 0n pages401 and 402, which deeds are now in my passion and have never heretofore been delivered to the grantees therein named.
Tenth. All the rest, residue and remainder of my property, both real and personal, of every kind and class, name, nature, wheresoever situated, I give, devise and bequeath unto my son, Harry L. Mohr, to have and to hold forever.
Lastly. I hereby nominate my son, Harry L. Mohr, to be Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made, and I direct that he be not required to give Bond.

CODICIL
Know all Men by These Presents, that I, George Mohr, of the Village of Shabbona, State of Illinois, do make this Codicil to the instrument dated January 22, 1942, heretofore made, publish and declared by me as and for my last will and testament; and I hereby confirm and ratify the aforesaid last will and testament in all its provisions save as changed by this codicil.
I hereby revoke paragraph Second of my said last will and testament and in lieu thereof I hereby devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Sarah B. Mohr, the following described real estate: Lot Ten (10) and the West Three-fifths (3/5) of Lot Nine (9) and the West Eighty (80) feet of Lots Eleven (11) and Twelve (12), all in block Five (5) of the Original Town of Shabbona, DeKalb County, Illinois, to have and to hold for and during her natural life; subject to the life estate herein devised to my beloved wife, Sara B. Mohr, I give, devise and bequeath unto my son Harry L. Mohr, the said Lot Ten (10) and the West Three-fifths (3/5) of Lot Nine (9) and the West Eighty (80) feet of Lots Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) all in Block Five (5) of the Original Town of Shabbona, DeKalb County, Illinois, to have and to hold to him and his heirs and assigns forever.
I hereby revoke paragraph Fourth of my last will and testament and in lieu thereof I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Sarah B. Mohr, five (5) shares of stock in the Farmer’s and Traders State Bank of Shabbona, Illinois to be hers absolutely; and I give, devise and bequeath to my said son, Harry L. Mohr, ten (10) shares of stock in the Farmer’s and Traders State Bank of Shabbona, Illinois to be his absolutely; and I, also, give, devise, and bequeath unto my said beloved wife, Sarah B. Mohr, all of the household furnishings in my residence in the Village of Shabbona, Illinois.
