March 6th, 1911. Will filed and on March7th, 1911 duly probated and admitted to record.
Will
I, Peter Olson, of the Village of Shabbona in the County of DeKalb & State of Illinois being of sound mind and memory do make and declare this to be my last will and testament in the manner following, to -wit:-
First, I direct that my executor shall first pay (out of my effects) all my just debts and funeral expenses.
Second, I give and bequeath to my wife Maren Olson, the use of all my property, both real and personal, for her use and maintenance during her natural lifetime, and that her funeral expenses also be paid out of said property.
Third, At the death of myself, and also of my wife, Maren Olson, I give and bequeath my entire property both real and personal to my two sons & one daughter viz: Ranes Olson, Christine Olson and John P. Olson, to be equally devided between them share and share alike.
Fourth, I hereby appoint Geo. Lovering of Shabbona, Ill., to be executor of this will.
In witness whereof I hereunto set my had & seal this 24th day of June A. D. 1908.

March 6th, 1911. Petition of George Lovering for Probate of Will and Letters Testamentary filed, representing that Peter Olson, who was at the time of his death a resident of the County of DeKalb, State of Illinois, departed this life at Shabbona, said county and state, on or about March 2nd, 1911, testate, and seized and possessed of real estate valued at about $1500 and of personal property estimated to be worth $1000.
That said deceased left surviving him, Maren Olson, residing at Shabbona, Ill., his widow and the following named persons as his only heirs at law and legatees; and their respective places of residence so far as known are as follows:
Ranes Olson, Rockford, ILL.
Christine Olson, Aurora, Ill.
John P. Olson, Aurora, Ill.
Prays that Letters Testamentary may be granted to him.
Subscribed and sworn to before the County Clerk.
