On August 16th, the Shabbona-Lee-Rollo Museum had the pleasure of hosting Barb Benson Johnson and her presentation of “Sloopers 200th Anniversary: Tours to Norway & New York”. She talked about the Sloopers Society of America and how the first organized group of people from Norway immigrated to the U.S.
Refreshments were served, then the raffle was held. The beautiful red, white and blue quilt was won by Christine Johnson of Shabbona.
